In the first 6 months of 2025, Ninh Binh tourism industry achieved many outstanding results in all aspects of work, contributing to promoting the recovery and development of tourism in the new context, aiming to build Ninh Binh into a leading cultural - ecological - spiritual tourism center in the country.
Many large-scale events and promotional activities were successfully organized
The Department of Tourism has chaired and coordinated the successful organization of many major events such as: Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2025 with the theme "The Golden Color of Tam Coc - Trang An", Trang An Music and Creativity Festival (FORESTIVAL), International Conference on the economic value of Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex, "Heritage for Life" fashion art program... These activities not only contribute to spreading the Ninh Binh tourism brand but also enhance the image of an attractive destination in the eyes of domestic and international tourists.
Tourists grow strongly, tourism revenue breaks through
The whole province is estimated to welcome 7.2 million visitors, an increase of 19% over the same period last year; including more than 1 million international visitors. Tourism revenue reached about 7,715 billion VND, an increase of 32% over the same period. This is a positive result demonstrating the effectiveness of tourism promotion and advertising activities, as well as the careful preparation of businesses in improving service quality.
Strengthening state management and sustainable development
The Department has synchronously deployed tasks such as assessing accommodation establishments, issuing travel licenses, inspecting tour guides, checking service quality and strictly handling violations. In particular, the conservation of Trang An Heritage continues to be focused on with more than 740 patrols, handling 16 cases of construction order violations, and coordinating biodiversity surveys, archaeology and relic development planning.
Strong digital transformation in tourism promotion
Tourism communication activities have made a breakthrough when promoting on digital platforms such as Facebook, TikTok, Youtube, Twitter..., attracting more than 12.5 million visits. The Department has also produced more than 1,200 articles, videos, and e-newsletters in 3 languages ​​and promoted the application of digital technology in introducing destinations and supporting tourists through the call center, smart tourism application, and Kiosk system.
Key tasks in the last 6 months of 2025
The Department of Tourism will focus on developing the Ninh Binh Tourism Development Project for the period 2025–2030; amending Resolution 105/2023/NQ-HDND; organizing promotional activities at domestic and international tourism fairs; promoting digital transformation and preserving Trang An Heritage according to UNESCO's recommendations. In addition, it will continue to prepare to organize major events such as the Ninh Binh Food Festival, international seminars on heritage, expand cooperation with digital platforms such as Booking.com, and develop new tourism routes by rail.
With determination to innovate, create and act effectively, Ninh Binh tourism industry continues to aim for sustainable development, enhance competitiveness and affirm its position on the national and international tourism map.
