Trang An Eco-tourism Site is a part of Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex, located in Ninh Binh Province, 90 km south of Hanoi, covers an area of ​​2168 ha.

The landscape of this Eco-tourism Site is a majestic mountainous region made up of multi-shaped mountains that reflect in the winding, meandering springsconnecting mysteriouscaves and wildvalleys. The Site has a combination of many types of tourism such as ecotourism, spiritual tourism and historical tourism. Currently, people visting Trang An can choose one of two waterway routes.

Choosing the Route 1, visitors will be sailing bythe friendly, warm and hospitable local to 9 caves and 3 spiritual places on a closed route in more than 3 hours. From the central boat pier, through the Dia Linh Cave, Toi Cave, Sang Cave, Nau Ruou Cave, visitors get off the boat and climb nearly 500 stone steps to burn incense at Tran Temple, then get back and take a boat ride through the Nau Ruou Cave to the Sinh Cave, Si Cave, Ba Giot Cave, Seo Cave, go through Son Duong Cave and visit Khong Temple and Bao Hieu Pagoda, then continue to Khong Cave, Tran Cave, Quy Hau Cave and return to the starting point and finish the trip.

The Route 2 was operated for tourism since 2015 and continues to be restored. Depart from Trang An Wharf, visitors choosing Route 2 will follow the itinerary: Boat pier - Lam Cave - Cao Son Temple - Vang Cave – Thanh Truot Cave - Dia Linh Mountain - Suoi Tien Temple - Kim Quy Mountain - Vu LamTemple - Return to the boat landing. Travel time is about 3 hours with more than 10 kilometers of waterway. Unlike other tourist routes, the way in and way out are not the same with 4 grottoes (Lam Cave, Vang Cave, Thanh Truot Cave, Dai Cave), and 3 spiritual places (Cao Son temple , Suoi Tien temple and special spiritual area of Vu Lam).
